AC Regeneration
AC Regeneration indicates whether a power device actively produces a new AC output waveform rather than only filtering the incoming mains.
A regeneration stage creates the output power waveform within the unit. This differs from passive filtering, which acts on interference while passing the supply through. The feature does not state the regenerated output’s voltage accuracy, distortion or capacity.

Check which outlets are regenerated and whether other outlets use a different path. A product combining several functions may not apply regeneration to every socket. The total connected load must remain within the specified continuous and peak limits.
Compare the actual output ratings and operating conditions, including ventilation requirements. Regeneration is not automatically voltage conversion, backup power or protection against every supply event. It also does not by itself prove an audible benefit in connected equipment.
