Adjustable Output Voltage

Adjustable Output Voltage indicates whether an AC regenerator lets the user set its regenerated mains output voltage.

The setting changes the voltage supplied to connected equipment, within the regenerator’s supported range. It is separate from the incoming mains voltage and from the tolerance with which the selected output is maintained.

Adjustable Output Voltage — Power Regenerator

Choose only a voltage supported by every device on the affected outputs. Check whether the setting applies globally or to a particular bank. A familiar outlet or plug does not establish that the connected equipment can accept every available voltage.

Follow the instructions for changing the setting, including any requirement to disconnect loads. Adjustment is not automatic recognition of equipment requirements. Confirm the current and power limits at the chosen setting, and keep voltage selection separate from output-frequency selection and regulation accuracy.
