Analog Band Output

Analog Band Output counts an active crossover’s analogue output pairs carrying the separated frequency bands to power amplifiers.

A stereo band normally needs a left and right signal path. The output count is separate from the number of frequency bands and from any dedicated mono-sum, full-range or digital output. Keep the stated counting basis with the figure.

Analog Band Output — Crossover

Map each output to its intended amplifier and speaker-driver section. The low-, mid- and high-frequency outputs are not interchangeable full-range connections. Check the chosen operating mode, because changing between stereo and mono configurations can alter which sockets carry each band.

Confirm connector type and compatible line level at the amplifier inputs. A pair offered on both RCA and XLR may provide alternative connections rather than additional independent processing. The number of band outputs does not specify crossover frequencies, filter slopes, output power or protection for a driver connected to the wrong band.
