Antenna Inputs
Antenna inputs describe the connections and built-in antenna arrangements a tuner provides for receiving broadcast radio.
Check the broadcast band, connector and impedance together. FM connections may use 75 Ω coaxial sockets or 300 Ω balanced terminals. IEC/Belling-Lee coaxial plugs push on; F-type plugs screw on. The impedance is an electrical matching value, not a quality rating.
Antenna Inputs — Tuner
Use the listed arrangement to match the tuner to your antenna. AM loop terminals accept a loop antenna; a separate external AM terminal serves a different connection. A ferrite bar or fixed wire is an antenna arrangement rather than a detachable socket. DAB may have its own input or share one with FM.
Compare the connections you need, rather than the number of terminals. A ground terminal is not another receiving band. Connector compatibility alone does not guarantee reception: antenna placement and local interference still matter. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antennas serve different functions.
