Bi-Wire Capable
Bi-Wire Capable indicates whether a loudspeaker cable is arranged to connect separate speaker input sections from one amplifier channel.
A bi-wire arrangement provides paths to compatible low- and high-frequency speaker terminals. It is different from bi-amping, which uses separate amplifier channels. The speaker must support the arrangement; a cable cannot create separate inputs on a speaker with a single terminal pair.

Check the connector layout at both ends and follow the speaker’s instructions for any terminal links. Some cables split at the speaker end while using a combined connection at the amplifier. Preserve correct polarity and do not assume every four-connector layout has the same purpose.
Bi-wire compatibility does not establish an audible improvement, a higher power rating or permission to connect unrelated amplifier outputs together. Compare the wiring diagram, conductor arrangement and terminal fit. If using a conventional connection, confirm how the cable and speaker links should be configured rather than leaving conductors unattached by guesswork.
