The wall plug identifies the mains-socket fitting at the supply end of a power cable.
Plug formats vary by country and can differ in pin arrangement, earthing and electrical rating. This fitting is separate from the connector that attaches to the audio component.

Choose the wall-plug version that matches the socket and electrical requirements where the system will be used. Products sold in several markets may use different cable versions even when the component-end connector is the same.
Compare the plug format and cable rating with the local supply and the component’s requirements. A travel adaptor changes the physical connection but does not by itself convert the supply voltage or make an unsuitable component compatible. Preserve the required protective-earth connection rather than treating a physically fitting plug as sufficient.
