USB Cable Device Connector
The USB device connector is the fitting at the DAC or other receiving-device end of the cable.
USB-B, USB-C and micro-B describe different physical connectors. Connector shape alone does not specify supported data rate, audio formats or power requirements.

For an optical USB cable or link assembly, the device end must match the DAC’s USB input. Directional assemblies can have distinct source and device ends, so fitting a plug into a socket does not establish that the link is oriented correctly.
Compare the device connector with the actual DAC port and check the assembly’s supported USB operation separately. Keep any required auxiliary power arrangement in view. A USB-C socket may support several roles, but this connector specification alone does not guarantee every role or identify the link’s bandwidth.
