Connection Topology
Connection Topology describes how a super tweeter is wired into the audio system.
Possible arrangements include a parallel connection at the main speakers, a speaker-level pass-through, a dedicated amplifier channel or a line-level input. The method describes the signal path, not merely the shape of the terminals.
Connection Topology — Super Tweeter
Follow the wiring arrangement specified for the product and confirm compatibility with the amplifier and main speakers. Speaker-level and line-level connections are not interchangeable. A terminal that passes a signal onward may leave it full-range rather than applying a filter to the main speakers.
Check which component supplies amplification and where the super tweeter’s high-pass filtering occurs. Do not infer the method from a connector name alone. The topology also does not state output level or crossover settings; those remain separate parts of integration.
