Digital Inputs (Active)
Digital Input Types lists the digital audio interfaces provided by an active crossover.
The list identifies connection methods such as optical, coaxial, AES/EBU or USB where supported. It is different from a total socket count or a list of accepted audio formats. Similar connectors can also serve different signal roles.
Digital Inputs (Active) — Crossover
Match the source output to an input that supports its format, rate and operating role. A USB socket, for example, may serve audio, configuration or another purpose depending on the unit. A network connection does not automatically accept every network-audio protocol.
Check how the selected digital source is routed to the crossover’s output bands and where system volume is controlled. Input availability does not establish simultaneous mixing of sources or independent processing paths. Keep analogue inputs and digital outputs separate when comparing the connection list.
