Driver Type
Driver Type identifies the sound-producing technology used by a super tweeter.
Examples include a dome, ribbon or air-motion transformer. These use different moving structures and drive arrangements. A diaphragm material or trade name may add detail, but it does not always identify the underlying driver technology.
Driver Type — Super Tweeter
The technology helps explain the construction, but the finished response also depends on the motor, diaphragm geometry, enclosure and crossover. A type label alone does not establish output level, dispersion or the usable frequency range.
Check that the description belongs to the super tweeter rather than another driver in a larger speaker system. Compare relevant measured response and integration requirements separately. No driver type by itself guarantees better sound or a suitable match with the existing main speakers.
