Electronic Speed Change
Electronic Speed Change means the supplied turntable changes between playback speeds through an electrical control, without moving a belt by hand.
A switch, button or included controller can make moving between records at different speeds more convenient.

Check which speeds the control selects and whether all required parts are included; electronic selection does not establish support for every record speed.
A deck that requires repositioning its belt on a pulley uses manual speed change. If electronic switching needs an optional power supply sold separately, the base package does not include that function. Compare the exact version being offered rather than an upgraded configuration.
Speed selection is separate from how accurately the motor holds the chosen speed. It also does not imply automatic tonearm operation. If the documentation is silent about the switching method, leave it unknown rather than inferring it from the drive type.
