Electrostatic Output, Normal Bias (6-Pin)
Normal-bias electrostatic output counts six-pin headphone sockets intended for the 230-volt normal-bias connection system.
These sockets carry the specialised audio drive and bias needed by compatible electrostatic headphones. Their pin arrangement and bias requirement are part of compatibility; an ordinary analogue headphone output cannot perform the same job through a passive plug adapter.
Electrostatic Output, Normal Bias (6-Pin) — Headphone Amp
The count tells you how many normal-bias sockets the amplifier provides. One socket carries a stereo headphone connection, so it is not counted as separate left and right outputs. Normal bias is distinct from the five-pin Pro-bias system; both kinds may appear on the same amplifier.
Match the headphone's specified connection and bias to the amplifier's documented output. Do not combine normal- and Pro-bias sockets into this count or assume that similar-looking connectors are interchangeable. Multiple sockets establish connection provision, but the manual must confirm any conditions on driving several headphones together.
