FM Antenna Input
FM Antenna Input counts the external aerial connections intended for FM radio reception on a tuner.
A typical connection is a 75-ohm coaxial input, but the specified connector and aerial arrangement should be checked for the actual model. The impedance describes the antenna connection; it is not the tuner’s analogue audio-output impedance or a speaker load.

Use a compatible aerial and cable, then position the aerial for the available station signal. Building conditions, nearby interference and transmitter coverage can affect the result. Having an input does not measure sensitivity, noise or the ability to separate closely spaced stations.
Distinguish an FM aerial socket from similarly shaped digital audio connectors and from AM or DAB inputs. Some models share a connection between bands, while others provide separate sockets. Check whether the specified count refers to physical inputs and whether an antenna is included; neither the count nor the connector alone guarantees good reception at a particular location.
