FM Tuning Range
FM tuning range is the span of radio frequencies a tuner can select, stated from its lowest to highest frequency in megahertz.
It identifies accessible FM broadcast frequencies. Regional versions or settings can cover different ranges, so the applicable market belongs with the specification.
FM Tuning Range — Tuner
The range helps establish whether a station's frequency falls within the tuner's coverage. It describes the radio carrier frequencies, rather than the range of musical tones reproduced. A wider range can cover additional frequencies but does not make an in-range station easier to receive.
Compare the exact regional version and both endpoints. Tuning step is a separate check: coverage alone does not show which increments can be selected. Do not confuse MHz radio coverage with an audio response in hertz or with AM and DAB frequency ranges.
