Height / Level Adjustable
Height adjustment allows the support height or level to be changed.
Adjustment may be provided by a threaded mechanism or another specified arrangement. Its available range and load conditions determine how much correction is possible.
Height / Level Adjustable — Damping Feet
Adjustable isolation feet can help level a component or accommodate small differences in the supporting surface. Each foot’s setting affects the component’s stance and the way its weight is distributed.
Compare the adjustment range and check that the feet remain securely engaged and within their rated load. Height adjustment does not by itself describe vibration isolation. Raising one foot without checking the others can leave uneven support rather than a level, stable component.
Height / Level Adjustable — Damping Base
On an isolation base, height adjustment can level the platform beneath the supported component. This may be useful where the shelf is not level or the platform requires a particular working position.
Compare the usable adjustment range with the clearance available above the platform. Follow the base’s loading and adjustment arrangement; levelling feet and adjustable isolation elements may serve different purposes. The presence of height adjustment alone does not quantify how well the platform isolates vibration.
