Internet Radio

Internet radio plays radio streams delivered through an internet connection.

It differs from receiving terrestrial AM, FM or digital-radio broadcasts. A network connection and access to the selected stream or service are required.

Internet Radio — Tuner

On a tuner, internet-radio support provides access to online stations through its supported network connection, such as Wi-Fi. Station selection may use a built-in directory, presets or another supplied interface.

Compare station access and control options as well as network requirements. A Wi-Fi connection alone does not establish an internet-radio interface. Station availability can change, and an online stream may differ from the same station’s terrestrial broadcast; the feature does not guarantee that every station is accessible.
