LW Tuning Range
Long-wave tuning range is the span of long-wave radio frequencies a tuner can select, stated in kilohertz.
The endpoints describe frequency coverage. They do not establish whether stations are available in a particular location or how well weak signals will be received.
LW Tuning Range — Tuner
This range helps determine whether a wanted long-wave frequency is within the tuner's reach. Regional versions can differ, so retain the stated market with the endpoints. Merely listing long-wave reception confirms the band but does not supply an exact tuning range.
Compare both limits for the same version, along with any tuning-step information. A wider span does not guarantee better sensitivity or less interference. Long wave is separate from medium-wave AM and short wave, and this radio-frequency range should not be confused with the audio frequencies the tuner reproduces.
