Mid Control

Mid Control adjusts middle audio frequencies, between bass and treble. Boost raises their level; cut lowers it.

A “Yes” confirms that adjustment is available. It may come from a dedicated midrange control or the middle bands of an equalizer, without a knob labelled Mid.

Mid Control — Preamp

In a preamp, this shapes the signal sent to a power amplifier or active speakers. It changes voices and instruments sharing the affected frequencies; it cannot adjust only the singer.

Compare the centre frequency in hertz (Hz), the middle of the affected band; the boost or cut range in decibels (dB), the amount of level change; and how wide a band is affected. Check whether frequencies are fixed or adjustable, and whether bypass disables the control for the input and output you use. Two “Yes” listings need not offer the same adjustments.
