Native DSD Digital Output Capability

Native DSD output sends DSD as a native digital signal rather than converting it to PCM or packaging it as DoP.

For an SACD transport, the capability must apply to an actual output and a compatible receiving device. Playing an SACD internally does not by itself establish that its DSD signal can leave through every digital connector.

Compare the supported output interface, receiving-device requirements and any rate limits. DoP preserves DSD data in a PCM-framed transport but is a different transfer method from native DSD. DSD acceptance on an input is also a separate capability. Keep any named link or partner-DAC restriction attached to the claim rather than treating “DSD compatible” as universal output support.
