Overall Height

Overall Height is the total vertical dimension of a rack in its specified assembled configuration.

The measurement describes the rack’s outside size, rather than the usable gap at any one shelf. Feet, spikes or wheels can affect the final height, so check which fitted parts and adjustment positions are included in the stated dimension.

Overall Height — Rack

Use the height to assess placement under furniture, near a screen or within an available space. Also consider the height of equipment on the top shelf and any lid or mechanism that opens upward. The assembled rack height alone does not describe the complete installed system.

Check shelf clearances separately and follow any stability or anchoring requirements for the chosen configuration. A taller rack does not automatically provide more useful shelf space or a higher load rating. Adjustable feet may help level the rack, but their allowed travel should not be assumed to provide a large height adjustment beyond the stated design.
