Per-Output Level Control

Per-Output Level Control indicates whether each active-crossover output has its own level adjustment.

Independent controls allow one frequency band or output channel to be raised or lowered relative to another. This differs from a master volume control that changes the whole system together. The feature does not specify the adjustment range or the size of its steps.

Per-Output Level Control — Crossover

Level adjustment helps match driver sections and amplifiers with different sensitivities or gains. Establish the correct routing and crossover settings first, then compare levels under consistent conditions. A control position alone does not tell you the acoustic output from the connected driver.

Check which outputs can be adjusted and whether settings are linked in stereo mode. Raising a band’s level can reduce available headroom or overload downstream equipment, so stay within the system’s limits. Independent level control does not replace suitable crossover filters or compensate for every placement and room-response problem.
