Preset / Memory Recall
Preset Memory / Recall indicates whether an equalizer can store settings and restore them later.
A preset can retain a chosen equalization curve and other supported parameters. The feature does not specify the number of memories or guarantee that every control is stored. Factory presets and user-editable memories may also have different capabilities.
Preset / Memory Recall — Equalizer
Stored settings can help repeat comparisons or return to a known arrangement after experimenting. Check which parameters are recalled, whether channels can be stored separately and whether changes must be saved explicitly. Recalling a preset may replace current settings immediately, including level-related adjustments.
Use a suitable listening level when switching between substantially different curves. A named preset is not evidence that it suits a particular room, loudspeaker or recording. Keep a useful baseline and compare under consistent conditions. Preset storage does not itself provide automatic measurement, room correction or a guarantee that settings survive every reset or firmware change.
