Proprietary Digital Link Output
Proprietary digital link output counts brand-specific connections that carry DSD from an SACD transport to a compatible matched DAC.
The link’s protocol and supported partner devices determine compatibility. Its connector may resemble one used for another purpose, so the physical fitting alone does not identify what equipment can receive the signal.
Compare the named link, output count and supported receiving models. A named processing feature is not necessarily an output connection, and a list of standard digital sockets should not be added to this count. Native DSD transfer and encryption are separate capabilities that require their own stated support. More link outputs do not automatically mean they operate simultaneously or feed several DACs independently.
