RDS / Station Display
RDS Display indicates whether an FM tuner can show station information carried by the Radio Data System.
RDS transmits data alongside a compatible FM broadcast. Depending on the station and tuner, the display may show a station name or text information. This is separate from the tuner simply displaying the frequency to which it is tuned.

The information depends on what the broadcaster sends and on successful data reception. A blank, delayed or changing text field does not by itself prove that the audio receiver is faulty. Some stations transmit limited information, and not every item changes with the programme or song.
Check which RDS display functions are supported rather than assuming that every RDS feature is included. The entry does not establish DAB reception, internet metadata support or automatic station-following behaviour. RDS text also does not measure audio quality; it describes an additional information service accompanying FM reception, with its own display and reception requirements.
