Peak / Maximum Output Power (Regenerator)

Peak Power Rating is the short-duration apparent power an AC regenerator is specified to supply, expressed in volt-amperes.

The value needs an allowed duration and operating conditions. It is not a continuous loading limit. A large peak figure without timing information cannot show how long the unit can support that demand.

Peak / Maximum Output Power (Regenerator) — Power Regenerator

Short-term capacity can matter when connected equipment draws a brief surge, but the demand must fit the regenerator’s actual limits. Check whether the rating applies from a particular steady load and what happens if it is exceeded.

Compare peak figures only with equivalent duration, voltage and load conditions. Keep the continuous rating separate and do not plan a sustained load around the peak number. VA is apparent power rather than necessarily watts, so the connected equipment’s power factor and the stated measurement basis remain relevant.
