Room Correction Range
Room correction range is the frequency span over which a system applies measurement-based correction to the loudspeaker and room response.
Frequency limits distinguish bass-only correction from correction across the audio band. A specification may provide both endpoints or only one bound.
Room Correction Range — Equalizer
The range shows which measured frequencies the correction can address. A bass-limited system can adjust low-frequency response while leaving higher frequencies alone. Some systems let the user narrow the corrected region within their supported range, according to the loudspeakers and listening-room measurements.
Compare the correction limits and measurement method. Do not substitute the unit's own frequency response or a manual equalizer's band range. Wider correction does not guarantee better results: speaker capability, placement, the target response and measurement positions still matter. An upper limit alone does not establish the lower endpoint.
