Room Correction
Room Correction lists the room correction and equalisation built into a product. This includes automatic calibration, manual equalisers and the ability to load correction filters.
Equalisation (EQ) adjusts the balance between frequencies. Manual EQ does not mean the product measures your room automatically.
Room Correction — Streamer
The streamer must apply the processing itself. Correction performed only by Roon, computer software or a separate processor does not count as built in. An external microphone or software used to measure the room and prepare settings can still be part of a built-in system. Loudness, balance or a crossover alone does not qualify.
Check which inputs, outputs and audio formats support the correction, plus the microphone and setup requirements. After setup, evaluate the corrected sound and measurements; a feature name alone does not show that the result suits your room.
