Selectable Channel Config
Selectable Channel Configuration indicates whether an active crossover can switch between supported arrangements of channels and frequency bands.
Examples include stereo two-way operation or a mono arrangement with more bands. A way is a separated frequency band, not simply a physical output socket. The available combinations depend on how the crossover allocates its processing and connections.
Selectable Channel Config — Crossover
Choose the configuration that matches the intended loudspeaker and amplifier arrangement. Check the output mapping after a change: a socket may carry a different band or channel in another mode. Restore suitable frequencies, levels and other settings before feeding the connected drivers.
A list of several configurations does not mean all can operate simultaneously. Nor does a higher way count guarantee improved sound; the filters, drivers and physical design must work together. Compare the exact stereo or mono combinations and their restrictions, rather than assuming that the total number of outputs describes the available speaker configurations.
