Selectable Output Frequency
Selectable Output Frequency indicates whether an AC regenerator lets the user choose the frequency of its regenerated mains waveform.
Frequency is expressed in hertz and describes how many cycles occur each second. It is separate from output voltage and from the audio frequencies handled by the connected components.
Selectable Output Frequency — Power Regenerator
Use only a setting supported by every connected device on the affected outputs. Some equipment depends on mains frequency for aspects of its operation, so changing the setting is not simply a matter of matching plug shape or voltage.
Check the available choices and the instructions for switching with loads connected. The feature does not guarantee that all equipment can operate from all settings, nor does it quantify frequency accuracy. Keep the selected frequency, voltage and permitted load together when assessing the supported power arrangement.
