Subwoofer / Mono-Sum Output
Subwoofer / Mono-Sum Output indicates a dedicated output that combines the relevant channels into one signal for a subwoofer.
Summing left and right can retain bass information from both channels in a single subwoofer feed. The connection is separate from an ordinary stereo output pair. The feature does not by itself specify the output connector or the filtering applied to the sum.

Check which input channels contribute to the sum and whether its low-pass filter, level or delay can be adjusted independently. A mono output should not be assumed to carry the separate LFE effects channel used in some surround formats; that depends on the upstream signal and routing.
Connect the output to a compatible subwoofer line input or the intended amplifier path. Avoid making a mono sum by directly joining unrelated outputs with a cable. The available mono feed does not establish bass management for every connected speaker or guarantee correct integration at the listening position.
