Supported Tonearm Lengths

The tonearm length classes the turntable is designed to accommodate with compatible mounting hardware.

Supported length describes mounting compatibility, including approved optional armboards where applicable. It differs from the length of the arm currently fitted and does not by itself establish compatibility with every arm in a class.

Supported Tonearm Lengths — Turntable

For a Turntable, supported arm lengths help narrow the choice of an arm for an armless deck or a future change. A longer arm generally requires its mounting point farther from the spindle.

Read the stated length class with the relevant armboard or base. Manufacturers may group nearby nominal lengths, so the actual mounting distance and drilling pattern still matter. An included arm’s length should not be treated as a complete list of supported alternatives.

Compare approved mountings with the exact arm’s requirements. Nominal length does not guarantee geometry, clearance or compatible holes. Optional hardware must be available and appropriate for the particular deck configuration.
