12V Trigger In/Out
12V Trigger In/Out counts the jacks used to send or receive a low-voltage control signal for switching equipment on or into standby.
The number counts sockets, not volts or audio channels. Check which are inputs and which are outputs. Trigger cables carry control, not music or mains power; the amplifier still needs its separate audio and power connections.
12V Trigger In/Out — Power Amp
A controller’s trigger OUT feeds the power amplifier’s trigger IN. An amplifier’s OUT can control another compatible component. Having trigger jacks does not guarantee a particular start-up order or delay.
Before connecting, check both manuals: output voltage must suit the input, and output current capacity must meet its demand. Match the specified connector and cable wiring, and check trigger-enabling settings and behavior. A 12V label or fitting plug alone is insufficient. If compatibility is unclear, establish it before connecting. Turn equipment off before making connections.
