USB Output Connector Type
USB output connector type identifies the physical fitting used by a device’s USB audio output.
Type-A and Type-C describe connector formats. They do not by themselves establish supported audio formats, USB data rates or output power.
USB Output Connector Type — USB Reclocker
On a USB reclocker, the output connector determines which cable fitting connects toward the downstream USB audio device. It is separate from the input connector receiving audio from the source.
Compare the output fitting with the receiving device and use a cable suitable for the supported USB arrangement. A Type-C fitting does not automatically mean every Type-C role or high-speed mode is available. Keep connector type, socket count and USB bus-power capability as separate details; a supplied adaptor is not an additional built-in output.
