Voltage / Current Metering
Voltage / Current Metering indicates whether a power conditioner displays incoming mains voltage and current drawn by the connected load.
Voltage is expressed in volts and current in amperes. These readings describe different electrical quantities. A current reading alone is not the same as a measurement of real power in watts.

The display can help monitor the supply and the load, but check what is actually measured and where. A reading may cover the whole unit rather than an individual outlet or bank. Display update speed and accuracy also limit what brief events it can show.
Metering does not itself regulate voltage or provide protection. Use the conditioner’s stated load limits rather than treating a normal-looking display as proof that every operating condition is acceptable. Separate any logged or peak values from an instantaneous reading.
