Simultaneous Active Outputs

Simultaneous active outputs means more than one output can send a signal at the same time.

A device can have several connectors while allowing only one to operate, or it can support selected combinations together. The useful specification identifies which outputs can remain active concurrently.

Compare the exact supported combinations and any operating-mode or signal-format restrictions. Analogue and digital outputs may have different controls, and two active outputs need not offer independent volume or source selection. The number of sockets alone does not establish simultaneous operation. If the outputs feed separate destinations, also check whether muting, volume changes or format selection affects both paths or only one.
